I'm not opposed to cuts or restructuring or general reprioritising _in general_, but the government is hitting a lot of vulnerable people very, very hard. The budget deficit is offsent by corporations not paying their tax - and that's tax calculated by people who already know how to dodge most of it, unlike you or I - but if someone on minimum wage pays 20% and Barclays pays 1% there's something really terribly wrong and that needs to be fixed before you tell disabled people that they don't need to go anywhere so you're taking away even more of their independence than they have already lost anyway.

I'm am... not easy about the demonstration. I dislike crowds, and I dislike the potential for trouble that inevitably happens when thousands of people squeeze into small spaces, but I am seeing just how badly most Americans are being squeezed while the rich are getting a lot richer and I see the cabinet of millionaires heading in the same direction, and I don't want to be looking back in twenty years' time wondering where it all went wrong and why didn't I do something about it then?
