Truth While Truth's in Season

Killer-Kate and Luke Lackland: 750 words.  The Puffin Superior hits an unexpected snag, and explains it over dinner.  The Young Duke wonders whether she is more useless than alarming, or the other way around.  But not anywhere the ears of her mind might catch him at it!
