Out of the Bog
Nov. 30th, 2010 06:08 amJust finished a short but difficult chapter of Killer-Kate. I'd wondered how my magnificently unstealthy protagonist was going to get the inside dope on her estranged son and his counsellors.
Hitting all her major triggers unexpectedly, bolting for the toilet, and throwing up until her head spins didn't feature anywhere in my original vision. It turns out, however, to be much more efficient than any of the more rational means I'd considered.
The results will work out very much to her advantage. I still think she's going to get me for this one!
